about
hailee
Hailee's love for film started in adolescence, a very formative time. She was raised by a single mother, and her summers home from school were often spent alone with 1980s John Hughes films on repeat in the VHS player. Hailee found a friend in Duckie, cried with The Breakfast Club, and escaped the world with Ferris. It's here that she learned the power of filmmaking. She knew she had to be a storyteller.
Hailee has worked on a variety of content ranging from web based digital content to scripted film and television. She is passionate about collaborative storytelling, and is interested in stories with a focus on music, sustainability, and the human experience. Her favorite films include Aftersun, Rushmore, The Lost Boys, anything by Sean Baker, and anything observational and introspective.
In the 3D world, Hailee enjoys gardening with her partner, cuddling her dogs and cat, film photography, concerts, eating good food, and traveling. To close friends and family, Hailee goes by Bear. You can call her that too if you want.
